Running throughout October is the new Chilterns Celebration. The celebration is designed to bring communities together and explore the Chilterns.
The celebration includes a visit from Chris Packham – naturalist, nature photographer, television presenter and author. he will be speaking at ‘Chilterns Champions’ conference about Citizen Science.
There will also be nature trails, art workshops and a live-streaming concert.
From Saturday October 17 to Sunday November 1, the Chilterns Walking Festival will take place with over 50 guided walks, activities, and events.
The ‘season of celebration’ will also support the campaign to extend the visitor season from October right through to spring 2021 to support their local pubs, shops, and attractions.
